In addition to the roles and responsibilities outlined above, a successful candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience working in a cloud technology environment using AWS, with experience building and operating applications within this space. A candidate will have worked with the following technologies:

• AWS Expertise

  Strong understanding of AWS services, including but not limited to:

  API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, WAF, Route 53, and Pinpoint.

• Azure DevOps

  Experience in creating and managing Azure DevOps pipelines to facilitate database management and automation.

• Database Management

  Solid grasp of database principles, migrations, and optimisation.

• GitHub Actions

  Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows using GitHub Actions.

• Terraform & Infrastructure as Code
  
  Experience with Terraform, including writing reusable configurations and automating deployments.
  

• GitHub Repository Management
  
  Define and enforce branching strategies to ensure efficient collaboration and code management.
  
  Implement best security practices for GitHub repositories, including access controls, secret management, and auditing.

  Take full ownership and responsibility of the repository, ensuring consistency, security, and maintainability.

• Architecture Best Practices

  Contribute to design decisions, ensuring alignment with best practices and business requirements.

  Maintain and update Lucidchart architecture diagrams, ensuring they accurately reflect the system’s current and future state.

• Automation & Scripting

  Strong focus on automating manual tasks to improve efficiency.

• JSON & JQ

  Understanding of JSON file structures and how to process them using jq for data manipulation.
